BY CAR FROM AUTOBAHN A72:

  • Take the motorway exit ‘15-Chemnitz Süd’
  • Use B173 / Neefestraße direction ‘Stadtzentrum’
  • Follow B173 and Theaterstraße 
  • You’ll reach the conference venue after 5.8 km. The conference venue is on Theaterstraße 3, 09111 Chemnitz.

BY CAR FROM AUTOBAHN A4

  • Take exit 69-Chemnitz-Mitte to merge onto Leipziger Str./B95 after 600m.
  • Follow Leipziger Str./B95 and Hartmannstraße to your destination in Zentrum.
  • After 4.9 km you’ll reach Carlowitz Congresscenter Chemnitz, the conference venue is on the right side. 

Participants are responsible for their own parking fees. The conference does not cover these costs. While parking is available near the Carlowitz Congress Center Chemnitz, the conference does not recommend any specific lot.

BY TRAIN

  • Get off at Chemnitz central station and use tram 3 in direction ‘Technopark Chemnitz’, alternatively local trains C13, C14 or C15 in direction ‘Technopark Chemnitz’ or Tram 4 in direction “Hutholz”
  • Get off at ‘Chemnitz, Roter Turm’ and walk toward Carlowitz Congresscenter Chemnitz

AIRPORT

  • The next nearby Airports are Dresden and Leipzig
    • The easiest way to get from Dresden Airport to the nearby train station is by taking the S2 suburban line train.
      • Location: The train station is conveniently located in the basement of the airport terminal.
      • Frequency: S2 trains depart every 30 minutes.
      • Destinations:
        • Dresden-Neustadt: 14-minute journey
        • Dresden Hauptbahnhof (main station): 21-minute journey
        • From the Dresden Hauptbahnhof, you can then take a train to Chemnitz central station, and follow the instructions in the "By train" section above to go to the venue.

    • The easiest way to get from Leipzig Airport to the nearby train station is by taking the S-Bahn S5 or S5X train.
      • Location: The train station is conveniently located within the airport terminal building.
      • Frequency: S-Bahn trains depart every 30 minutes.
      • Destination: Leipzig Hauptbahnhof (main station) - Journey time is approximately 15 minutes.

AFTER YOUR ARRIVAL:

  • By Foot
    • From the Chemnitz Central Station: It's a short walk of about 16 minutes. Simply head towards the main exit, cross the square, and turn right onto Carolastraße. Then turn left onto Straße der Nationen, and turn right onto Brückenstraße : The Congress Center will be on your right.   
  • By Car
    • Parking: There are several parking garages and on-street parking options near the Congress Center. Look for signs indicating "Parkhaus" or "Parkplatz."
